Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body and provides volume and fullness to the skin. Injectable hyaluronic acid is a safe, biocompatible compound that gets degraded gradually by the body over time. Restylane and Juvederm Ultra are all derived from hyaluronic acid, which is a clear gel-like substance and optimal for the lips, creases, folds, and contours. It offers 6 months to 1 year duration and can be used effectively in the lips, folds, scars, cheeks, and chin. We prefer this for lips and superficial lines.
